Hospital and Aged Care support services are a natural set of non-clinical activities that are perfectly suited to outsourcing. Whilst some District Health Boards and Providers choose to outsource one or two services, many are increasingly choosing to contract out all Hotel services to Medirest. They sense the greater synergies that such an approach can offer and want the opportunity to create or maintain a fully integrated support service. Medirest take complete responsibility for the management of all aspects of the services including staffing, purchasing, compliance with health and safety and full budgetary and quality control.
